Progress Reports
The NYC Progress Report Overview provides a summary of a school’s Progress Report, designed to help families interpret the Progress Report and understand important information about school performance.
Progress Report Overviews have been developed for most schools including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high schools. Schools that opened at the start of this school year will receive a Progress Report Overview next year. Certain groups of schools (District 79 schools, some District 75 schools, and some early childhood schools) do not receive Progress Report Overviews.
The NYC Progress Report measures student year-to-year progress, compares each school to peer schools, and rewards success in moving all children forward, especially children with the greatest needs. For additional information about the Progress Report, click here.
Learning Environment Survey Reports

Quality Review Reports
The Quality Review Report describes what the reviewers saw at the school -- what life is like there. The report identifies some of the strengths in the school, as well as areas where improvement is needed with suggestions for making improvements. New York State Report Cards
The New York State Report Cards provide enrollment, demographic, attendance, suspension, dropout, teacher, assessment, accountability, graduation rate, post-graduate plan, career and technical education, and fiscal data for public and charter schools, districts, and the State. For each reporting year, a companion database containing statewide data in many of the above areas is also provided for statistical analysis purposes.
